The Tucson Writers Salon is a series of free mini-workshops where host Tiffany Hawk and an acclaimed guest author discuss craft, publishing, and the writing life before giving participants a writing assignment of their own. Arrive with a pen and paper and leave with inspiration and a new community.
Yi Shun Lai is a co-owner and editor of the Tahoma Literary Review and the author of Not a Self-Help Book: The Misadventures of Marty Wu (Shade Mountain, $18.95). She is a columnist for The Writer Magazine and has been a writer and editor for 25 years.
Tiffany Hawk, a writing coach and developmental editor, has been published in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, NPR’s “All Things Considered,” and more. She is the author of Love Me Anyway (St. Martin’s Press, 2013) and currently lives in Tucson.
