Join us to celebrate the release of The Classroom (Gold Wake, $17.95) by Dana Diehl and Melissa Goodrich.
The Classroom is a collaborative short story collection that considers what it truly means to learn and grow. From a classroom of young magicians to a school that floats into the stratosphere, each story contains its own magical classroom and an enchanting glimpse into the lives of the all-too human characters who inhabit them.
Local author Dana Diehl has served as editor-in-chief of Hayden’s Ferry Review and The Susquehanna Review. She is also the author of Our Dreams Might Align (Splice, $9.99) and the award-winning chapbook TV Girls (New Delta Review). She has been awarded a Glendon & Kathryn Swarthout Prize in Fiction.
Melissa Goodrich is an award-winning writer whose stories have appeared in American Short Fiction, The Kenyon Review Online, and more. She has been awarded the 2016 Tucson Festival of Books Fiction Award, the 2018 Passage’s North Waasnode Fiction Prize, the 2012 Academy of American Poets Prize, and more. She is also the author of the short story collection Daughters of Monsters (Jellyfish, $15).
