Free TNBQ+ Poetry Workshop

Sunday, September 29 & Sunday, October 27 · 2:00pm—4:00pm
Join us for two free poetry workshops in coordination with Tucson's TNBQ+ Poetry Project.

Workshops are free and open to Trans*, Non-binary, and Queer+ (TNBQ+) community members.

The TNBQ+ Poetry Project was created by Tucson’s Poet Laureate, TC Tolbert, with support from the Academy of American Poets. This project aims to promote solidarity and raise awareness about the continuing oppression faced by individuals within the TNBQ+ community. In 2020, audio recordings of participants’ poetry will fill the airwaves of Tucson (and more!) via audio installations across town and in virtual space. Workshops are open to participants of all ages and writing levels.
