This month’s featured readers are
Pamela Uschuk and Charlotte Lowe. Pamela is the author of six poetry collections, the most recent, Wild In the Plaza of Memory. She has been nominated for numerous prizes and awards including a Pulitzer Prize and over 30 Pushcart Prizes. She is Associate Professor of Creative Writing at Fort Lewis College, where she also directs the Southwest Writers Institute. Charlotte is a poet and critic who has traveled to reservations throughout the Southwest teaching and reading her work for the Poets-on-the-Road and Poet-In-The Schools programs for the Arizona Commission on the Arts. She is the author of the poetry collection, Stealing the Dog’s Prozac, as well as many prize-winning journalistic pieces.
