Come sample recipes and listen to discussion and readings by contributors to this very literary local cookbook.

Desert dwellers have long sustained themselves by foraging from the abundance of wild foods around them. From mesquite trees to prickly pear and other cacti, these recipes enhance the culinary wonders provided by the Sonoran desert.
Readers will include poet Ofelia Zepeda,  Barbara Rose, Jill Lorenzini, and Kimi Eisele.

This event is co-sponsored by the Food Conspiracy Co-op, where a few
recipes from Eat Mesquite and More have been chosen to be re-created and brought to the event for tasting.
